Here's a quick snap to show the scale of the Warlord 28mm figures I've just added to the site.
I know some gamers like to use Ancient chaps alongside their GW figs sometimes, so thought this would be helpful.
The Roman is the commander figure from the Auxillaries set, and is metal - sorry, didn't have time to paint him etc - it is only for comparisson !
He's standing on a GW 25mm base (first spare one I could find)
I think the overall height is around the same as the GW figure, but the Roman is less 'chunky' in appearance.
If I mount mine on GW style bases I'm thinking of cutting a gorge into plastic base so that I can sink the metal base down into it - I think that would be a good way to go
Soon as I get some a unit of these Romans painted up I'll put some pictures up - promise !
